Mojave Water Agency Invites Public to Join Virtual Master Plan Community Conversation
Apple Valley, CA — Mojave Water Agency is inviting residents throughout its service area to participate in a virtual community conversation on Wednesday, Sept. 2, as the Agency continues development of its Master Plan and looks ahead to priorities for the next five years.
The Zoom meeting will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the Master Plan process, hear about the Agency’s role in securing and managing regional water supplies, and provide input about the water issues and priorities that matter to the communities MWA serves.
The Master Plan will help guide Agency priorities, investments and activities over the next five years. Public engagement is an important part of that process, helping MWA understand community awareness, concerns, and priorities across its service area.
The Sept. 2 meeting will be held virtually via Zoom, making it accessible to residents throughout the Agency’s service area.
Residents interested in participating are asked to register by completing a brief online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2W3ZPWR. Those who register will receive the Zoom meeting link by email prior to the meeting.
Community members are encouraged to participate whether they are already familiar with Mojave Water Agency or simply want to learn more about how water is managed and planned for in the region.
