This course will cover the procedures and documents required by the state and funding agencies used in emergency response. Participants will receive instruction on how to educate the public about emergency response as it relates to the water system.

Additionally, students will learn about public safety power shutoffs (PSPS), which temporarily cut power to electric lines that may fail in certain weather conditions in specific areas to reduce electric facility-caused fire risk.
