What is a demonstration garden?

Demonstration gardens offer examples of plants and sustainable gardening techniques that are appropriate to the High Desert.  They also provide learning opportunities for students, home gardeners and landscape professionals on design, planting and maintenance procedures.

Barstow Community College - under renovation -  Garden is located at entrance to the college. No parking fees required. Also located on campus is a meditation garden.

Victor Valley Community College - Garden is located on the lower campus on FIsh Hatchery Road. Parking passes are required to park on campus. Daily passes may be purchased at machines throughout  the campus.
